MUTTON BUSTIN'
Ride Hard Entertainment

Mutton Bustin' is an event where kiddos try to ride sheep for as long as they can. Each participant gets a prize, and finals will be Saturday evening. Arrive 10-15 minutes prior to event times to sign the liability waiver. Safety equipment is provided, and the event is free.
Children must weight less than 55lbs.

Mutton Bustin' Times:

WILDLIFE WENDY AND HER TROPICAL BIRDS
Capitol International Productions, Inc.

Crowds are amazed and laugh out loud at the antics of the talking and free-flight parrots. Utilizing the traditional favorites of trick-performing, mimicking and free-flight combined with fascinating facts; Wendy presents an upbeat show that inspires respect for all wildlife!

Families are invited to take a break in Peppy's 1200 sq. ft. shaded tent and enjoy some water-play that is perfect younger kids. We encourage imaginative and educational play through water! Participation is free, and there is some seating and room for strollers.
We provide a safe and engaging space for kids and parents alike to take a break, cool down and prepare for hours of fun.

*An adult must accompany children into the area and supervise them. This is not a drop off area for children.

Jim: "Brighten up your day, just a couple of balloons away! I’ve been happily twisting balloons off and on since 1996. Over the past 10 years it has become full time at restaurants, parties, fairs, corporate events, etc. The joy on children’s faces when they see a balloon creation is what keeps me going!"

1600 sq. ft. of traditional, custom, and giant puzzle games. Challenging all skill levels with a variety of puzzles (geometric, jigsaw, tangrams, and more!) including family favorites like Giant Jenga, Giant Connect 4, and Giant Chess.


PONY RIDES

Free pony rides for children weighing 70lbs and under. The ring is located behind Grizzly Mountain Pavilion, in the shade of the Fairgrounds' mature trees.

WESTERN EXPRESS RAILROAD

Hours of Operation:
  • Thurs/Fri/Sat: 12:00pm - 6:00pm
This 48-foot, 1850s-style trackless train has become a staple of the Crook County Fair. Enjoy the breeze in your face and the sights throughout the Fairgrounds as the Western Express drives the whole family around the asphalt loop. The 3 wagons have 3 bench seats each. Look for the railroad crossing sign behind the big tents (JJ Entertainers & Puzzlemania) on the blacktop (near Smith Rock Coffee Roasters).

CROOKED RIVER MODEL RAILROAD CLUB

Come view the detailed display that focuses on the history and landscape of Central Oregon -- a free display that is great for the whole family. The model railroad is crafted and maintained by club members.

Donations are much appreciated.

The Club's building is located between Carey Foster Hall and the Grimes Christmas Scene.

Ride Hard Entertainment

Sit in the grandstands of the Ride Hard Arena and learn more about Texas Longhorns in this interactive, educational presentation. Free and paid photo ops available.
