WOLD AMUSEMENTS
Carnival Rides, Games, and Concessions

Unlimited-ride wristbands and game credits are available for purchase through Wold Amusements ONLY (not available at the Fairgrounds office). Wristbands give a single rider unlimited rides for one day only. Wristbands and games credits can be purchased in the carnival area during the Crook County Fair, or can be purchased online. Pre-order a wristband through their website for $5 off the $40 wristband price:

Carnival Hours:
  • Wednesday, 5:00 - 9:00 pm
  • Thursday/Friday/Saturday, 10:00 am - 9:00 pm

MUTTON BUSTIN'
Ride Hard Entertainment

Mutton Bustin' is back again for 2026! This is an event where kiddos try to ride sheep for as long as they can. Each participant gets a prize (usually a ribbon), and buckle finals will be Saturday evening. Arrive 15-20 minutes prior to event times to sign the liability waiver and secure your spot. Each event is limited to 20-25 participants, and each event fills up quickly. Safety equipment is provided, and the event is free.
Children must weight less than 55lbs.

Mutton Bustin' Times:
  • Thurs-Sat: 11:00am, 3:00pm, 7:00pm
Championship Finals: Saturday @ 5:30 PM instead of the 7pm show time

Godfrey is back at the Crook County Fair! Enjoy a free 30-45 minute magic show that will make you laugh and leave you feeling amazed. Fun for the whole family!

Jim: "Brighten up your day, just a couple of balloons away! I’ve been happily twisting balloons off and on since 1996. Over the past 10 years it has become full time at restaurants, parties, fairs, corporate events, etc. The joy on children’s faces when they see a balloon creation is what keeps me going!"

PONY RIDES

Free pony rides for children weighing 70lbs and under. The ring is located behind Grizzly Mountain Pavilion, in the shade of the Fairgrounds' mature trees.

DINKY TRAIN RIDES

Hours of Operation:
  • Weds: 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
  • Thurs/Fri/Sat: 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM & 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Great for all ages. Wait by the "Train Crossing" sign near the Info Booth to catch a free ride around the asphalt loop.

PUZZLEMANIA

CROOKED RIVER MODEL RAILROAD CLUB

Hours of Operation:
  • Weds: 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
  • Thurs/Fri/Sat: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Come view the detailed display that focuses on the history and landscape of Central Oregon -- a free attraction that is great for the whole family. The model railroad is crafted and maintained by club members, and changes seasonally.

Donations are much appreciated.

The Club's building is located between Carey Foster Hall and the Grimes Christmas Scene.
