"As a Crook County High School Class of '84 Alum I return to Prineville, my hometown, as a Republican candidate for Oregon Governor. Many changes over the years and it's hard to recognize what once was. Issues of excessive taxes, business choking regulations, education unlike what I once received, and the unaffordability of basic hunting and fishing must be addressed. I hear seals make for a great pair of boots and their reduction will provide better salmon numbers for the people. I have real solutions to the problems we all face. As a husband, father, and new grandfather, I want an Oregon I grew up in but better. I want an Oregon that benefits Oregonians and doesn't tread on our freedom and liberty. We can recover our timber industry as well as put our state resources to work for us all. I don't care what party you associate with, but I do care that we all realize that the pain handed down by our Legislature and State Administration affects us all in the worst ways. This is our common ground. This is THE ground we all stand on. My life experience, education, and commitment to Oregon more than qualifies me to be the next Governor of Oregon. As a US Navy Veteran I swore an oath that doesn't end. Honorable and decorated service with a security clearance that could choke a horse. Oregon needs an intelligent fighter. That is me. My wife Oksana and I will be in Prineville from March 4th through the 6th and are happy to set up meetings with anyone during that time.
