The Crook County Fair Board has agreed to bring a carnival to the 2009 Fair. Davis Amusements Cascadia has agreed to play at the 2009 Fair to be held August 5th through 8th, 2009.
The Fair Board has been discussing the return of a carnival to the annual Fair since they elected to go without for the 2008 Fair. Recently they accepted proposals from carnival providers narrowing the field to two companies.
“Davis Amusements Cascadia were selected because of their deep history in the fair business and their financial status as a company”, stated Patrick Wood, Fairgrounds Manager. “They are a family run business with a strong heritage and commitment levels that impressed the Fair Board”, Wood said.”
Representatives from Davis Amusements Cascadia stated that “all in all, we are looking forward to 2009 and the opportunity to serve the people of Crook County. Davis Amusments Cascadia prides itself on good, clean, affordable family fun”.
The 2009 Fair is to be held August 5th through the 8th, 2009.
